With over three decades of experience in IT and customer service, I specialize in web development, cybersecurity, and digital operations for small businesses, startups, and individuals seeking a reliable partner to bring their tech projects to life. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Technology and Software Engineering, as well as a Certificate in Cybersecurity, from the University of Colorado Boulder. I’ve worked in everything from point-of-sale software support to AI tools, cloud security, and database optimization—helping teams grow, systems scale, and customers stay happy.
But my story doesn’t begin in a data center.
From 1986 to 1994, I spent eight unforgettable years as a commercial fisherman in Alaska, facing down wild seas and long hours with grit, determination, and teamwork. Before that, I ran restaurants—first as a manager in the early 1980s, then again from 1995 to 2001 as a hands-on owner and operator. That blend of operational hustle, customer focus, and leadership continues to inform my work today.
Between 2001 and 2007, I worked in radio and television as an Account Executive, helping businesses craft effective messages, reach their target audiences, and achieve tangible results from their media spending. It was a masterclass in brand communication and client service.
More recently, I led operations and customer support at Retriever Solutions, a SaaS company where I managed AWS environments, built training materials, and helped optimize sales and network performance. My work boosted online sales by over 70%, thanks to careful analysis and innovative implementation.
What ties all of this together? A lifelong passion for creating meaningful connections between systems, people, and ideas.
Today, I’m focused on helping others succeed in the digital world.
